"Kekkou desu". That means "no thanks" in Japanese. And Softbank shareholders have said a very strong "kekkou desu" to the idea of the Japanese cellphone and internet giant buying up to 75% of America's Sprint Nextel. Softbank's shares fell as much as 17% this morning in Tokyo. Japanese stockholders are not sure Softbank can afford Sprint. The Nikkei newspaper has said the Japanese firm will spend up to US$19 billion on the deal.
