Looks like Vikram Pandit got resigned. According to the New York Times, on the day he was pushed out of the bank, the former Citi CEO was allowed to choose between three news releases that gave staff and shareholders a different reason for his departure. But Citi’s chairman Michael O’Neill planned to oust his CEO for a long time before those public announcements were inked.
