The conservative Liberal Democratic Party has won the Japanese election, returning to power after three years in opposition, according to exit polls. Shinzo Abe, who served as prime minister between 2006 and 2007, will likely return to the seat. Perhaps his greatest challenge will be turning around the Japanese economy, which is back in a technical recession.
