A new investment in Twitter from the world’s largest asset manager will value the social media company at more than $9 billion, a jump of more than 10% since its last fundraising in 2011. BlackRock launched a $80 million tender offer to a number of the social media company’s early employees, according to FT sources. Twitter itself, which facilitated the transaction, will not raise new capital.
