NASA is well acquainted with the dangers of sending humans to outer space. Thirty years ago today, its Challenger shuttle exploded shortly after takeoff, claiming seven lives in a tragedy broadcast on TV to stunned Americans. In the video above, NASA reflects on the legacy of the fatal accident.
