Apple’s iOS 10 makes it easier for old people to use emojis

Apple unveiled a host of updates to its iPhone operating system at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 13, but it was particularly proud of the new features in its Messages app.

The iPhone’s new texting features mostly seem designed to make iMessages seem more like Snapchat, or perhaps more like human conversation. But with its new features involving emoji, iOS 10 also is taking a big step towards solving a task some thought impossible: teaching old people to use emoji.
