Update: Argentina beat the US 4-0 and will go on to play in the Copa America final on Sunday, June 26.

Early in the second half of their Copa America match, Argentina is leading the US men’s national soccer team 3-0. The second of those goals was a free kick by Lionel Messi that sailed above the US defenders’ heads and into an upper corner of the goal.

It was as perfectly executed a shot as is possible. And with that goal, Messi became Argentina’s all-time leading goal scorer.

Team USA did not distinguish itself offensively in the first half.

The winner of this match plays in the Sunday (June 26)  final against Chile or Colombia.
