Edhi: “I come from ordinary people.”

Abdul Sattar Edhi, the renowned Pakistani philanthropist, died on Friday, July 8th, at the age of 88. He was loved in Pakistan because he offered help to anyone who needed it, without judgment.

In 2013, he was interviewed for the film These Birds Walk.  Watch the video for excepts from that interview, in which he offers moving reflections on his life’s work.
