Delta makes cellist buy seat for cello, won’t give him miles, erases the miles he already has

A friend of the cellist Lynn Harell received a letter from Delta Airlines customer relations, informing him that they are ripping up his frequent flyer contract. They claim he had no right to claim frequent flyer miles for the extra seat they forced him to buy for his cello.
