Aliza Goldberg covers global news for Quartz. Previously, Aliza was at World Policy Journal writing about international affairs both online and in print. She also consulted for Access Now, an international human rights nonprofit, on the changing digital surveillance landscape in Latin America and Asia. She holds a B.A. in English from Barnard College and is finishing an M.A. in International Affairs from Columbia University.
