As Quartz's Data Editor, Christopher Groskopf uses evidence and analysis to unravel esoteric trade issues, how complex systems fail, and the legal hobgoblins of our everyday lives. He is also the author of of the Quartz Guide to Bad Data and the creator of numerous open source software packages, such as csvkit, agate, and proof. Previously, Christopher worked on the NPR Visuals team, built the PANDA Project, and wrote code for the Chicago Tribune. He lives in Tyler, TX.
