Robert David Hart is a London-based journalist and researcher with interests in emerging technology (especially artificial intelligence and synthetic biology), science, health and anything queer. Aside from Quartz, his work has been featured in Slate, The Guardian and Wired. As well as living in the UK, he has lived in Switzerland and Kyrgyzstan, and when not writing he will most likely be found travelling or (attempting) to write sci fi. He is a graduate of Downing College, University of Cambridge with degrees in natural science and the history and philosophy of science.
