  • I think it’s possible to believe both that more seamless AR is an important part of our future and that Magic Leap hasn’t yet figured out how to get us there, despite having a lot of time, expectations, and investment to do so. Bringing developers in to help with that makes sense.

As he points out, not altogether unsurprising as Rony Abovitz has said basically he wants to make all his childhood fantasies come true with Magic Leap.

    Given that Magic Leap promised the moon to investors and consumers alike, this is an important point because it begs the question: what has driven the development of this company? Wish-fulfillment for one individual or wish-fulfillment for the masses?
