  • I grew up during the birth of Hip-hop and started my career in radio. Queen was and still is a big part of that. So seeing this movie as a fan and somewhat music historian this film is a big deal despite the reviews. The mention of Straight Out of Compton and this film as far as money making potential

I grew up during the birth of Hip-hop and started my career in radio. Queen was and still is a big part of that. So seeing this movie as a fan and somewhat music historian this film is a big deal despite the reviews. The mention of Straight Out of Compton and this film as far as money making potential are spot on. My black male deejay want to see this film cuz we have sampled and mixed the heck out of their records. As far as the LGBTQ aspect being friendly, it shouldn't be. They should tell the truth. I know for myself what folks were saying we rocked ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. They were not using the term Gay that's for sure. You cannot do a Biopic and not be honest. There is education and conversation in that which we need to discuss. I suspect this is why the film did not get glowing reviews. Remix nails it. Dope film for real music fans.

  • It’s hard to do movies that are completely accurate to the real story. Some people criticized The Greatest Showman and other stories for not being the exact story, but it’s good to attract people to historic people, bands, and events even if there is a little storytelling.

  • This is one of those films where I'm not sure it's possible to do a dramatization of Mercury's genius, and maybe a killer Queen documentary would be a better bet.

  • I recently saw "Bohemian Rhapsody" and absolutely loved it. Freddy Mercury had a rare level of musical genius. Is it completely accurate, NO. On the long run does it really matter? Also a resounding NO! What really matters is the story behind this film. Go see it, oh will smile.

  • The movie industry is not interested in the absolute truth. They buy your story then pick a director that just had a tennis lesson the self-realization seminar and half a pound of cocaine and who knows what you’ll get

Maybe my brother is right we are all sales people

  • One of the all time best songs.

What got me interested about Bohemian Rhapsody is the recording process.

They used the method called"ping pong recording" to "bounce" literally hundreds of overdubs into the mix.

So just 3 physical vocal represented 200 people singing in opera part.

  • Great
