  • Because freedom of the press isn’t a partisan issue.

  • Trump revoking Jim Acosta’s credentials is an unwarranted attack on the press.

While Fox has greatly diminished its reputation as a credible news source, it and other news outlets should be in complete solidarity on this one.

Trump is an insecure, racist man-baby and a horrible person who won’t answer questions honestly. Last week Fact Checker noted he lied 83 times in a single day.

To remain dishonest he deflects with cruelty and insults and revoking Acosta’s White House credentials is another example.

The press has a responsibility to get the facts and hold people accountable, including the lying, bigoted, gaslighting president who won the electoral college and lost the popular vote.

  • Perhaps Fox sees the writing on the wall. A GOP POTUS banning a CNN anchor could turn into a DEM POTUS banning a FOX reporter.

In fact we've already seen that situation here in NYC a little bit with the way De Blasio treats the NYPost...

  • Today I am grateful for... Fox News?? Well, that’s a sentence I never expected to say.

  • Acosta is a rude arrogant idiot. I would have given him an ultimatum at the beginning. Where does it say the Whitehouse can’t kick out an unruly reporter. To call this an attack on the Press is just plain silly. Does not CNN have another reporter?

  • If Jim Acosta had basic manners, maybe he’d still have his credentials. Being rude and disrespectful isn’t freedom of the press. You get farther in life and work being respectful even with those you dislike or disagree with than being the opposite.

  • Democracy relies on the ability of a free press to report on all branches of the government, regardless of whether those in power like the questions being asked or the reporter asking those questions. This case has broad implications beyond CNN and Jim Acosta. It is great to see so many journalism organizations

  • I side that pulling press credentials should. It be done. However, I do believe that rules are needed for behavioral at the Press Conferences. It appears that Acosta does not accept answers that he does not like. The President and Press Secretary should reduce the number of times that Acosta is called

The President and Press Secretary should reduce the number of times that Acosta is called upon to give others a better chance at their time.

  • I don’t think Acosta’s pass should have been pulled because it just made him out to be a martyr. He should just be ignored. It is so unfair to the rest of the reporters in the room. CNN was not banned so another reporter that has better manners could have been sent. I also think the same question should

CNN was not banned so another reporter that has better manners could have been sent. I also think the same question should not be asked over and over again. Ask questions with substance so the American people can be informed instead of every sleazy questions you can think of. Reporters should report the news, not be the news!
