  • Fucking finally. I'm glad that this has happened, but it sure took a long time and outside external pressure before Sony took this step. Just because someone's music is great doesn't mean that they should be allowed to get away with being an absolute piece of garbage as a human being.

I'm just sad that he has gotten away with all these assaults for so long.

  • This seems like a no brainer, I mean this should have happened a long time ago, but better late than never.

Also, the lifetime doc series is painful to watch, but highly recommended

  • Wow, this is major. I saw the Lifetime docuseries --difficult to watch but a must-watch series-- and it was incredible to hear the stories of alleged minor-aged sexual assault by survivors. I can only imagine how they're feeling today with this set of news.

  • I think if Sony truely want to take a stand they need to donate all their R Kelly profits to charities that support those affected by monsters like him

  • Shouldn't this have happened 10 to 15 years ago???

  • did everyone suddenly forget that he married a 15 year old?!?! it really took a damn tv show to bring people to reality?!?

  • Sony had to finish making money off him. He is no longer economically viable. That's why they dropped him.

  • R. Kelly is 52 years old. He has been playing music since the 80s. In true American fashion, everyone turns a blind eye and makes as much money as possible until there is a TV show we can all watch and then act like we care for 2 months. If there is money to be made someone will sign him and keep his “talent” working for them. The guy is sick in the head and needs help.

  • I have only five words (and one punctuation mark) for Sony Music- What. Took. You. So. Long ?

  • Forgive me for not applauding Sony, as if they are taking some kind of principled stand. For years they profited from and promoted this fool’s foul “music” with such lyrics as this great art song, “Sex me.” Shakespeare and Petrarch, move over, another brilliant writer of love poetry has taken your place. It doesn’t get any better than this: “Sex me, baby baby sex me (sex me baby) sex me sex me baby sex me.

Now let me feel your body next to mine.

Cause girl I wanna feel you sweat, girl

    You're so

    You're so very wet.

Now put me inside of you do what you wanna do.

Cause you got a need for me and I got a need for you,(baby any)

Any unexpected positions (bring it on)

Any secret fantasies, you see I'll fulfill, as long as you sex me.”

  • He just thought he was to big to bring down. Children are Off Limits to aging

R&B singers, to anyone for that matter. Like God says” what’s done in the dark will come to light...

  • This pig

  • What is crazy is that R. Kelly has been a sexual predator since I was a teenager (I'm 40 now) and everyone knows this, why is it such a big deal now, why not before? He should have been held accountable when he had sex with, exploited and urinated on a 16 year old girl over 20 years ago.

  • All these Rap Artists are a Bunch of NON TALENTED So Called Musicians. Garbage Lyrics for People who Don't Know what The True Meaning of Music Means.
