  • So much to love about this move by 24-year old #halsey. She bring an authenticity to it- so it works as a brand partnership. But as a young artist and a millennial, she is not just a consumer. Halsey also has her eyes open to the world and sees investment opportunity. Hopefully she will inspire her fans to learn more about the brands they love, and motivate them to invest in companies that meet their investment goals.

  • Halsey is unquestionably a talented artist whose gifts go way beyond singing. I have no personal knowledge of this deal and therefore assume it was in fact driven by her love of the brand.

I remember attending an "investor day" at an agency a few years ago where startups came in to pitch themselves. Afterwards the agency "matched" their various clients to interesting startups. They did something similar for charities where they selected causes their clients should support.

Many celebs are legitimately smart and have great business instincts. Many are not but appear so because of the hard work of the machinery that runs them.

  • Halsey is pretty impressive at 24. Interested to see what she accomplishes, professionally, in the next 20-30 years.

  • Invest in stuff and you use and that you love.

  • Invest what she like, and leading to self-branding.
