  • For real campaign reform, let's set a time limit on how long campaigns can be conducted. This continuous campaigning doesn't help the hyper-partisanship politics we are suffering right now.

  • The only reason this is happening is because presidential campaigns are now so insanely long.

Honestly, I'm not sure I'd be down for it! I don't want to shave 1-2% off my paycheck for a job that is by its very nature temporary.

  • There is an old wisdom that says "He who rides on the back of the tiger soon ends up inside". As soon as the going gets rough, like right before the primaries, the first work stoppage will derail the campaign.

This display of solidarity seems very risky.

  • This should be interesting...... When the union causes a stoppage, or halt to action, because they aren't getting what they want when campaigning.... Booom there goes the presidential nominee!!!!!

  • Where is the laughter icon for some of these comments?! 🤣

  • It’s important to note that the unionization of campaigns is a direct result of Bernie’s last presidential bid. He apparently didn’t treat people well. And, ironically, ran a campaign where a major element of his platform was a $15/hr minimum wage - while paying most campaign workers $10/hr. Something

mind. On the other hand, the rules that apply to the masses have never applied to the leaders in any socialist state, so he had that going for him.
