Indiscriminate open borders facilitate the spread of disease - e.g. monitoring visitors from Ebola outbreak areas. Overcrowded detention centers can be a problem but what are the consequences of 'catch & release'? I notice that this is blamed on Trump's policies but I would argue that this is Congress' fault for failure to recognize an increasingly serious problem while making as much 'political hay' as possible off the backs of those they claim to want to protect. Immigration is a national concern - medically, economically, socially & politically. The choices are not limited to NO IMMIGRANTS or ANY IMMIGRANTS. The American people are not as stupid as politicians or the politically elite want to think. Border states have been dealing with this for some time, but, hey we are just stupid Deplorables. What do we know?
