  • Kim got what he wanted: domestic and international legitimacy without giving up his nuclear weapons. President Trump got the nice photo opp at the DMZ he always wanted. It’s not exactly an equal exchange.

  • Not particularly clear what the strategy is, is it to try and block and tackle China visiting North Korea, or is it too reach out and establish a relationship directly, or is it just a narcissistic legacy building? Not to belabor the point I have previously made, but every single step of American policy has been less and less predictable in a traditional policy maker's rubric, thereby concentrating both politics and power globally into the decision making of a very small group of individuals. Not

Not particularly clear what the strategy is, is it to try and block and tackle China visiting North Korea, or is it too reach out and establish a relationship directly, or is it just a narcissistic legacy building? Not to belabor the point I have previously made, but every single step of American policy has been less and less predictable in a traditional policy maker's rubric, thereby concentrating both politics and power globally into the decision making of a very small group of individuals. Not only do the financial markets react more and more towards individual leaders actions but also the media does as well. The force multiplier effects of communications today create new challenges on both sides that we have not even thought through as a society.

  • Doing what it takes to bring N Korea's neighbors safety and increasing the integration of the N Korean people into modern society for their suffering to decrease is fine with me. No matter what the President party affiliation, or last name may be.

  • Mr. Trump has made it very clear in his past statements, if you've listened. It is not about world peace or security for the area. It is about the next Trump property. Everything that Donald does with his administration, is about enhancing his & his allies future fortune's. Those who think otherwise are watching too much Fox&Friends

  • But does he need to step back out?

  • More theater for the masses.

  • What’s the hidden agenda and how is this benefiting Trump. That’s what we need to concern ourselves with. Trump takes steps for Trump and could care less about history.

  • This is very easy to understand. Trump is doing it for personal gain. It’s never anything else. He’s visiting dictators he admires, getting tips to consolidate his power and overthrow democracy.

  • Historic? As in, historians will one day see this as a moment we could have changed things for the better and failed to?

  • Weiyee....I am going with narcissistic

  • North Korea has added 6 warheads to their nuclear stockpile since the last Trump-Kim summit. US gets nothing in concessions or reductions or anything for giving access to Trump for photo ops and increased legitimacy domestically, and internationally in the Tyrant-class countries. Trump gets fleeced like a sheep in these summits. Kim quote at the DMZ, "I never thought this would happen." Exactly - who's winning now?

  • Great move Trump

  • Awfully hypocritical, ...can ya imagine the uproar if 44 did such.!!???..

  • If Trump gets a real estate deal in return for peace so be it. Exponentially worse has been done in modern western history.
