    As someone who has assiduously avoided managing anyone other than myself, I am fascinated by management stories. This one is pretty good, especially this choice reminder about passive management. "Power without responsibility is a form of sociopathy." Still, there is a big gap between the theoretical descriptions of properly functioning teams and reality, which seems to be that people who like working hard will do that and people who don't simply won't.
