  • In what universe does someone thinks it okay to make fun a teenager on TV? And a parkdale one at that? Wow. I mean this is unbelievable. Good for him for tweeting. Good for those companies that pulled out. Oh yah... this generation is coming for you.

  • One of the main problems of the conservative sect of the Republican Party is their lack of empathy. The LAST thing David Hogg needs is to be told to suck up not getting into these universities. As a former teacher, we would have emergency drills and code words in order to get students out safely in case of an active shooter. One of my scariest experiences teaching came during an emergency of our highest security. I remember the moment I rushed my students out of the restroom and locked my students

One of the main problems of the conservative sect of the Republican Party is their lack of empathy. The LAST thing David Hogg needs is to be told to suck up not getting into these universities. As a former teacher, we would have emergency drills and code words in order to get students out safely in case of an active shooter. One of my scariest experiences teaching came during an emergency of our highest security. I remember the moment I rushed my students out of the restroom and locked my students in my classroom demanding that they stay away from the windows and doors. I had a plan to break my second story window and use a rope to get my students out safely. But the one moment I clearly remember was asking myself if I was ready to die for my students. I remember accepting that if this was an active shooter I was definitely willing to die before he killed any of my students. As we waited for an hour to understand what was happening at our school, I remember the fear I felt. Luckily, it ended up not being the situation that the Parkland community faced. I shouldn’t have to fear for my life at work! My students shouldn’t have to fear for their lives at schools! The Parkland students are highlighting and not accepting our status quo for schools and gun violence. Their trauma is real and it should not have to take businesses withdrawing money from your show to apologize and have some humanity. Teachers, students, principals, and families should have safe spaces away from harm. Schools are the centers of the gun debate in America because it is abnormal for students to fear losing their life while learning. What happened at Parkland is not normal. Allowing first graders to die at Sandy Hook without outrage is not normal. Columbine was not normal. It should not have taken 18 years to recognize that children dying at school is not normal.

  • It’s strange that TripAdvisor was advertising on Ingraham’s show in the first place. The CEO is very openly progressive and has positioned the company’s brand that way in the past.

  • Speechless. Just unbelievable.

  • Boss Hogg sending his minions. Can't handle some meany pants words. She shouldn't have apologized. This what we expect from little fascists.
