  • The technology is amazing, but every single one of these Boston Dynamics videos freaks me out. Every single one.

This is an amazing accomplishment for this type of robot. I hope they keep advancing in this area becase it could save a lot of lives. For years they have been trying to biuld a robot that could trasvers terain like this and this is a good step closer. Now if we can just get them to fight wars for us instead of having somany human deaths. Or we could just stop killing each other and use the robots as an aid, but mankind seems predisposed to harming its self. For now thow this is a wonderfull start. Can’t wait to see where this goes next.

  • BD’s advancement is stunning, if not increasingly creepy and worrying. Curious if the company has an internal red line. Hope so!

  • The advancement in the field of robotics is simply amazing. It may be creepy to some but I think we should not be freaked out or fear these kind of things. I don’t think that robots will ever replace humans anyway since they need us to operate. We should embrace AI in my opinion. Anyway, with regards

Anyway, with regards to the Boston Dynamics Atlas, I can’t help but be amazed at how fluid his motion is. Gone are the days of R2D2 movements of robots. I’m really excited to see what’s next with BD’s Atlas. I still think that a robot like that from Robin William’s movie is still years and years from ever getting developed. Although I think Japan is the closest so far to achieving that.
