  • Both will lose. But the NFL will lose on all fronts. Given its actions, the NFL is alienating young people, who aren’t watching TV anyway.

  • That’s an understatement: “Trump’s war with the NFL won’t destroy him, but he has placed himself on the wrong side of a cultural rift.”

  • We’re tired of the NFL players inserting their political opinions and social causes into an unrelated arena, so we’ve turned off the games. The same can be said for the Hollywood hacks who feel a need to insert their personal narratives into their performances or unrelated commentaries. We watch the

We’re tired of the NFL players inserting their political opinions and social causes into an unrelated arena, so we’ve turned off the games. The same can be said for the Hollywood hacks who feel a need to insert their personal narratives into their performances or unrelated commentaries. We watch the NFL games to enjoy SPORTS, not opinion; we tune in to television or go out to the movies for ENTERTAINMENT, not the entertainer’s political views! We will continue to boycott these avenues of entertainment as long as the celebrities and athletes continue their along their current path.

Those that are in control of this NFL debacle are playing a dangerous game. The idea here is to create an environment so anti American and anti-trump that the majority of people who voted for Trump will boycott and stop watching the games, attending the games and buying paraphernalia , however, ( stay with me here)

The game is so engrained and loved by the people that transference will take place and subconsciously, the people will blame Trump for making them take a stand, thus giving up NFL football, thus, costing them a huge portion of the joy they once looked so forward to every weekend, hanging with friends, tossing down a cold one, and watching the game unfold. Now, nothing, no joy, no fun, no tailgaiting, no yelling at the screen, no discharge of pent up testosterone. The job they once endured every week has now become more dredgerous because theirs no light at the end of the tunnel every week end.

Only this uncompromising stand for a great principal.

AND THATS WHAT THE OPPOSITION IS COUNTING ON. A sudden uncontrollable subconscious disdain for all things Trump because, deep down, The misplaced blame will bleat into their skulls " It's all his fault it's all Trump's fault I don't have my weekend fun anymore..."

I guess the question is, is it worth the resolve or should the people go back to loving the game they so desperately miss ?

And: " Will this tactic backfire on the NFL and will the leagues withstand mortal wounds in the financial markets? Will the gambling, fantasy leagues, and franchise merchandisers put up with this attempted kidnapping of the minds of NFL fans across the country for the sole purpose of usurping Trump because he is brining so much corruption and vileness to light?

    Time will tell.

  • The Writer in this Story is already ignored for his hatred of the President.

Patriots vs Unpatriotic is the issue, not the President vs NFL.

The NFL and its sponsors knows what's up and they're scared to death.

The NFL will lose and true Americans will win this debate.

  • in the future they will look back and question why healthy productive young men were placed in harm's way by corporate and personal risk of cte. instead political diversion was offered to satisfy their desire for unbridled profit.

  • Amazing! Media has missed the focus of the situation. The NFL Players chose to disrespect Anthem, Am Flag, Veterans, Am Patriots to make a protest. It is the Constitution that gives they their right to protest, WHY desecrate the Symbols of their rights! AmPpl not Trump , emptied stadium seats

  • Taking a knee during the national anthem changed the subject from police brutality to disrespecting the anthem. It’s like protesting abortion by crowding into Starbucks and peeing without buying anything.

  • Nice try. The NFL has already lost. For viewers it’s never been about Trump.

  • Last season we quit going to NFL games, quit buying NFL gear and quit flying to a couple of away games. We had more fun going to Japan, Italy and The Caribbean with that time & money and this NFL Season we are doIng the same only different Countries. Last season we quit going to NFL games, quit buying NFL gear and quit flying to a couple of away games. We had more fun going to Japan, Italy and The Caribbean with that time & money and this NFL Season we are doIng the same only different Countries. Done paying to see my Flag and Country disgraced before every Kick Off. President Trump is right on this one.

  • This commentator hit the nail on the head!

“...Trump is not clever. In the face of a challenge to his authority, he is no more capable of acting strategically than an amoeba is of considering the advantages and disadvantages of moving toward a bright light...In his own mind, Trump is the flag, just

This commentator hit the nail on the head!

“...Trump is not clever. In the face of a challenge to his authority, he is no more capable of acting strategically than an amoeba is of considering the advantages and disadvantages of moving toward a bright light...In his own mind, Trump is the flag, just as Trump is the law. Chait, 6/5/18.”

Using the “Fox and Friends” bold-faced lie as an excuse to disinvite the team—rather than have his unpopularity exposed—further proves the above stated opinion of Trump!

  • Trump makes a fool of himself with yet another tantrum, is anyone surprised by this anymore. His supporters will turn a blind eye and the rest of the world will roll their eyes. All we can hope for is the next few years to go as quickly as possible so we can start picking up the pieces.
