'who added that the pardon could improve Trump's standing with "the black community without doing anything substantive."' Read my mind. All these are cosmetic actions. And although black unemployment is lowest it has been, I'm not sure the reason is any specific program Trump has launched. Also, President Obama did some courageous things, so I am curious as to why he did not pardon Jackson posthumously after 3 request. But again, the fact that Jackson is black and he is black should not be enough

  • The short answer is yes, he is trying to gain the favor of black voters. But what politician isn't?

I never liked Trump... But I have to say, he surprised me. I don't know yet whether I was surprised positively or negatively, but surprised me with intelligence and general speed to take actions. I don't know if his popularity in USA has grown, but in South America certainly has. Brazil has elections this year, and we have a Trump candidate style, I personal don't like extremist, but I hope they can do a good job.

He should have done all of this the moment he opened the doors of the Whitehouse and settled in. A lot of damage has been done not just to the African-American community but to all non-white communities. Racism in America just hits rock bottom! Everyday you’ll see racist videos being uploaded in Facebook it’s ridiculous! America has made a 360 from “the dream” to nightmare. Whatever Trump’s motives are, I hope he will address all the racism and bullying happening in the US. Use his

voice and tell his followers to stop being idiots!
