Wow. Never share your passwords, folks. Put it in your will, use two-factor authentication or something. What a shame. And she did the same for his Juilliard acceptance, too! Yikes.

What a travesty that such vile and selfish people exist.

  • Completely gut wrenching to think that people will commit such selfish acts to keep their significant other to themselves. Happy to see justice where it is due - hopefully this scares others who are capable to doing similar things. Impersonation and making life changing decisions on one’s part is just as much a criminal act as anything else.

  • This is horrifying. How devious and heartless of her for trying to ruin his dreams.. people like that should never get away with these things and I hope that they find her. Justice needs to be served!

Though props to him for having continued through and that it didn’t stop him from doing what he loved. That 43min video of him playing the clarinet was intense. Amazing!

What a pathetic excuse for a human being she is. She should be found and held accountable. Vile is an accurate description of such a despicable person.. Thank your lucky stars you didn't marry her.

“The law does recognize that the loss of a chance is a very real and compensable loss... Eric was the victim of such an unthinkable, immoral act that delayed his progress and advancement as an up-and-coming young musician and delayed his embarking on a most promising career.”

  • Terrible story. But that headshot.....

Incredible that something with such huge ramifications could take place simply because she had access to his email and a selfish motive for his rejection. We need to work on the security of our online media if we are going hold it to such a standard of legitimacy. Great move by McGill, to rise above it.
