    So many possibilities.

  • I find the American view of sexuality to be so puritanical & quite hypocritical in it’s resolve. Especially when you consider that extreme acts of violence are being perpetrated in our schools, yet gun regulation is still a hot button issue. But sex? Noooo heaven forbid we subject younger generations

Noooo heaven forbid we subject younger generations to nudity, oh wait I forgot that too is merely a Google click away...

  • Twitter needs to pivot if it wants to remain relevant...perhaps this is their window.

  • I approve Max Lockie's message ;)

  • I had no idea that Twitter allowed nudity. Knowing this, it makes sense that nudists would embrace the network. And, I agree that on other platforms, especially Facebook, innocuous photos, with colors or shapes that could on first glance be mistaken for sexual content, are quickly flagged and removed

    I had no idea that Twitter allowed nudity. Knowing this, it makes sense that nudists would embrace the network. And, I agree that on other platforms, especially Facebook, innocuous photos, with colors or shapes that could on first glance be mistaken for sexual content, are quickly flagged and removed as such. However, as machine learning algorithms and training sets become more sophisticated, I would expect that nudists will get their wish, and "sexual and nonsexual nudity could be differentiated".

  • {Nudist + Twitter = Digital Flasher}

    Analysis of formula:

    You can't just come across a photo of a man's genitalia and go... OMG I found a Nudist. That would not be the first word that comes to mind, but more like 'Creep!' is what you'd be saying.

  • It’s odd to see people up arms about something that is seemingly a small part of their everyday and seems like another over sensitive topic. Let them post what they want for how long they want and when Twitter decides to change their policy then the nudists will have to find another platform, sad but

    It’s odd to see people up arms about something that is seemingly a small part of their everyday and seems like another over sensitive topic. Let them post what they want for how long they want and when Twitter decides to change their policy then the nudists will have to find another platform, sad but true. Good thing the internet is actually endless so it wont prove too difficult, and I personally am ok with seeing less of your body regardless of what you look like.

  • “Belcher and his fellow nudists are frustrated by how frequently online networks lump them in with sexualized content. In fact, the biggest thing they want “textiles”—those who lived in the clothed world—to know is that true nudism is about being comfortable in your own skin and accepting all human bodies

    ‘Nudism and naturism are about being one with nature. It’s caring for Mother Earth and treating her with respect as well as viewing our bodies positively and viewing our bodies as a gift, a miracle. There is nothing sexual about naturists and nudists wanting to be nude.’ On Twitter, the community self-polices, and if someone is deemed spammy or overly exhibitionist, most nudists will ignore them.”

  • I’ve no problems with nudists, although I don’t really want to see people gardening in the nude showing up in my feed. If Twitter were trying to appeal to aliens or say an entire village of people who had never heard of the platform, what would it say?

    1, President Trump’s preferred channel for communicating

    2, Place where you can have a non-sensical argument with perfect strangers.

    3, Uber popular place to share photos with fellow nudists

    4, Still a place where journalists occasionally break news

    It’s not surprising NewsPicks is gaining users with a thirst for news and smart commentary.
