The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 30 cents per share.
The cloud identity management company posted revenue of $584 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Fourteen analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $559.8 million.
For the current quarter ending in January, Okta expects its per-share earnings to range from 50 cents to 51 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $585 million to $587 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.
Okta expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.47 to $1.48 per share, with revenue ranging from $2.24 billion to $2.25 billion.
