The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 65 cents per share.
The video streaming company posted revenue of $984.4 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $959.7 million.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $709.6 million, or $5.01 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.48 billion.
