CEO of Astrobotic cited my PhD work in his op-ed: An MIT study estimated that the cost of a Mars mission could be reduced by up to 68 percent by using the water ice on the moon.

The psychological effect is an unignorable part of space travel. A future Mars mission could last up to 900 days, which is 20 times longer, plus space radiation and reduced gravity.
In the next several decades, who controls the moon controls space; who attempts to control Mars controls nothing.
This is what I’ve been saying for years.
