Over the past 20 years the US and Europe have built a dependence on Foreign supply chains of which China is the biggest. Those supply chains are all being called into question now but for multiple reasons. Jobs is the first and least interesting with record low US unemployment, National security is the second ( senate banned ATT/ Huawei) , environmental impact is the third ( eg cobalt mining in the DRC) and social responsibility is the fourth. ( child labour + minimum wage ). The US will pull most of its supply chains for one of the those for reasons in time. The Chinese will retaliate and it has little to do with tariffs. #thisgetsugly
Apple getting to a trillion Dollars will prove to be a bit like winning the Barclays manager of the month award. IE there is only one way you are going and that’s not up ! For those not familiar with the EFL I apologise as you will struggle with the analogy.
Not a Musk issue, a Twitter issue and a human behavioural issue. People are so brave when hidden in plane sight with no consequences for their actions or words. Not a Musk issue, a Twitter issue and a human behavioural issue. People are so brave when hidden in plane sight with no consequences for their actions or words. These are often the same people that will sit in the back of a lecture hall and say nothing. They operate in gangs, as most people comfortable in groups as it hides the ability to make a case intelligently and articulately. I was once told the most brilliant arguments are “softly spoken” it is a wise saying indeed.
Musk said in a tweet on Monday said there was nothing stopping Tesla workers from joining a union, but "why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing?"
This may say more about what they think of Tesla stock than the it does about joining a Union ?
The one I want to do is mustard and ketchup . I put both on my bacon sandwich the whole time !
Here is the breaking news. He is just not a very good CEO and Cheryl is not a very good COO. I admire their vision greatly, but the vision you need to start a business and the skills you need to run one are diametrically opposed. Just imagine any other company in the world buying another for $20bn

I admire their vision greatly, but the vision you need to start a business and the skills you need to run one are diametrically opposed. Just imagine any other company in the world buying another for $20bn ( what’s app ) and returning zero to shareholders . Harvard Business Review estimates once you add the cost of capital it goes up to 40bn by 2022. They are hiding in plain sight desperately trying to find the next cool thing and if you thought Facebook was becoming uncool before; just wait for its new dating game. Amazing story, but as weird as it seems he is probably not the right guy to run it.
Makes sense. My Tesla came with a Spotify account, so why not treat the car purchase the same way. Makes sense. My Tesla came with a Spotify account, so why not treat the car purchase the same way. In a rapidly changing technological climate it makes all the sense in the world to be a club member where drivers do not feel “at risk”for the new tech coming down the line. It’s a way of avoiding a “ buyers strike” when consumers feel if they purchase a car it will become obsolete immediately so defer their purchase. This helps circumvent that problem. Nicely.
Three reasons why it will be bikes and scooters (not cars,) that will eventually dominate the landscape of urban areas. 1/ Understandably, people don’t like getting hit by cars. In future all cars will have hundreds of sensors whether they be autonomous or not causing a vast reduction in road fatalities
Three reasons why it will be bikes and scooters (not cars,) that will eventually dominate the landscape of urban areas. 1/ Understandably, people don’t like getting hit by cars. In future all cars will have hundreds of sensors whether they be autonomous or not causing a vast reduction in road fatalities. 2/ Currently People don’t like ingesting tail pipe fumes. In future all urban centres will have electric cars, meaning that emissions are almost irradiated. 3/ People don’t like travelling long distances in work cloths. Electric bike s and scooters can already travel up to 30mph and do up to 80k on a single charge. They are also easier to store and charge than cars and better for your health if you decide to pedal. These are the real drivers behind the bike and scooter sharing revolution, which has not even started yet.
How much did they collect from their $22bn acquisition of what’s app ?
