Digging is expensive and hard to beat on price. It requires a lot of hyperlocal investment, interaction, labor, and marketing. None of that is what Google is best at. If they need 10X to justify, they should focus on their strengths. 10X for them is plausible in some efforts, but only at things in which they already have some parallel success.
