I think the success of this film is not only a heightened demand for mainstream Asian films as a genre, but also an increase in the inclusion of Asian actors.

The gender implication from some of the metrics is that women tend to lead in a more qualitative manner, where as men are typically more straightforward and driven by productivity. A male doctor in the study even acknowledged that changing his regimented approach on one occasion made a lasting impression on how he now operates as a physician.
So, it's not that women are better doctors necessarily. It's the difference in approach that is the underlying driver behind thoughtful treatment and better outcomes.
