Any newer than that and it isn’t really “history” quite yet...Clinton is still news for sure...not history yet. Having said that, the process they use looks pretty solid to me...apart from the part where they talk about Christian heritage and the Alamo as being untouchable in Texas.

  • As a white guy, I find it interesting that so many other people are outraged by this. The only people qualified to comment on their level comfort as black people in a white world are those black people. If they say they’re not comfortable in a beer festival dominated by white people then LEARN FROM IT

The only people qualified to comment on their level comfort as black people in a white world are those black people. If they say they’re not comfortable in a beer festival dominated by white people then LEARN FROM IT. Assume that you might not know what you’re talking about. I am not passing judgement as to whether you do or you don’t but PLEASE try to keep an open mind! It is only through listening with an open mind and learning from what you hear, that we will become a better integrated society...

  • Alas...there is nowhere else to go if you leave Facebook. I live in California and use FB to stay in touch with my friends and family in the UK. I wouldn’t be without it and have no plans to leave...and I honestly can’t imagine why anyone would. If you use Facebook judiciously, there really isn’t much

Alas...there is nowhere else to go if you leave Facebook. I live in California and use FB to stay in touch with my friends and family in the UK. I wouldn’t be without it and have no plans to leave...and I honestly can’t imagine why anyone would. If you use Facebook judiciously, there really isn’t much of a downside. However, given the number of gullible people that are out there, I can see that the “fake news” spread by FB is a problem. This is a much more important place to focus today...this is where we should be encouraging Facebook to spend their time and effort, instead of all this crap about leaving. Google have way more sensitive data about all of us and I don’t see too much complaining about them at the moment. My honest belief is that this is all getting blown out of proportion.

  • This is a pretty weak move on her part. Enjoying the sarcastic “leaning out” comments in the article though...chuckle.
