Sure, by the subscriber numbers, growing Apple Music is a must. I think the real win in this article is that Apple appears to recognize that they can make sales to folks not on their platform which could yield some huge wins with interoperability and let users use more Apple products across their personal device ecosystem, assuming their marketing department can offset negative consumer feelings about Apple. Here’s to hoping!
Haven’t had an opportunity to read the article but I’m betting this is not a bad choice. I don’t the the carriers have full roll-outs of the network, I’m not so sure it’s Apple’s job to force carriers to pick up on the innovation. But just an armchair guess.
I’m not sure it’s technically possible but can’t they create a “gender neutral naming/pronoun corrector” and run the results of the first one through that before piping it to the user. Kinda like humans do when one may have been raised with a bias that they are working to neutralize.
I agree that innovation needs to serve the people. I am bothered by the “farm-to-factory migration”.

This arguably did not work out well, though displaced farmers learned to not farm or perished after decades sorted it out. The state of our food and production and distribution does not work
