The two downsides to this potential banking system: (1) it would be administered by the Federal government. Thus it would now be subject to the bureaucracy that all Federal institutions have, which simply means that the roll out will stink (picture Obamacare but worse) and after a couple of years the people at the top would be political appointees given these positions not because they excel at them but because they donate tons of money and kiss ass. (2) the employees working these banks would now be unionized Federal employees. You would go from people who get pay raises because they do excellent work to needing three people to do what private companies use one person to do. Then with a Federal government employee who screws up, uses their position to line their pockets while edpoysing their political bias and can't be fired because they're union employees you end up with a work force three times the size of what they need to be and with no incentive to be excellent in their work habits.

Other than that, what could go wrong?

Isn’t it weird that actually enforcing the laws written through legislature causes so much angst? The fact of the matter is that the moment an immigrant makes the decision to cross the border illegally they have broken the law. I know that concept escapes liberal Progressives but if they are so heart broken about this, then maybe it is time to put pressure on Progressive Democrats to create an equitable law.

When Progressive Democrats stop throwing temper tantrums and start doing their jobs and come up with legislation then I will take them seriously.

When those who support Progressive Democrats begin to insist their politicians get busy writing and debating a law that can be enforced then I will take them seriously.

When journalists stop being opinion and propaganda writers and TV personalities and simply report that yes President Trump is enforcing a law, that immigrants do in fact break that law and are subject to the full weight of breaking those laws and that Progressive Democrats have a rare opportunity to work with Republicans to write and debate a new law then and only then will I take them seriously.

The choice is now up to Progressive Democrats, their supporters and the mouthpieces that pretend to be journalists to actually do something.

I keep reading opinions about how this will crash the economy and other sour grapes. I very much disagree with that type of analysis.

You may hate President Trump for many reasons but you cannot debate that he is the first president in a very long time to force people to the negotiation table by not bowing to political correctness.

The US trade imbalance has been ignored for far too long and we as a nation have allowed Europe, Canada, Mexico and China to enrich themselves on weak leadership for far too long.

Putin predicted in 2008 that by electing a weak leader America would suffer and Russia would once again be a world power, controlling nations around the world to bow to Russia. He was right on.

America can right the ship and create more balance but it is going to take continued leadership that doesn’t bow to the evil of political correctness.

  • This is a really good thing and this is the first place I’ve seen it reported. Maybe if it were President Obama in office this good news would be covered.

  • It used to be, in times far past, that journalists presented facts not opinions.

  • Do you notice that when Socialist Democrats get defeated on a measure it’s simply because they’ve been “out messaged”. We saw this first with President Obama’s administration. Maybe it is more about the lack of a coherent message rather than simple out messaging.

Great example here. Very liberal city

Do you notice that when Socialist Democrats get defeated on a measure it’s simply because they’ve been “out messaged”. We saw this first with President Obama’s administration. Maybe it is more about the lack of a coherent message rather than simple out messaging.

Great example here. Very liberal city in state with legal drug choices and a message that we will tax the rich and provide for you. This message is mixed in with the fact that you have large corporations that have spent billions growing their businesses in your backyard while providing countless good paying jobs. But your message is “we will take from those gaining success and provide for you who don’t have so you can just hang out and do drugs”. Now the Socialist Democrat message is dressed up more than that but that is what it boils down to. Then some kind, hand wringing politician goes “oh, how sad that we have all these homeless drug addicts pooping on our streets and discarding their needles in our parks. I know! Let’s tax the ones who are actually producing jobs even more. Then we will build tiny houses and provide free training for all these people who have flocked here waiting for their handout.”

Then when reality sets in that they have no plan or approach how to spend the producers money they are surprised and rebuffed that they got “out messaged”.

Maybe the reality for Socialist Democrats is to figure out WHY their message doesn’t resonate with the majority of people producing wealth.

  • A lot of effort is being put into the “college/university degree = lifetime big earnings” argument. Countless articles like this get young people thinking the path to riches is paved with an over priced piece of paper.

The only people getting wealthy from college education are college administrators

The only people getting wealthy from college education are college administrators, tenured professors with the correct ideology and politicians elected into office on the backs of “promises” to millennial.

That’s why free education just like free healthcare is just another desperate, empty promises by wealthy politicians who can’t get elected without deceiving people that they’re going to get something free off increased taxes from those millennials want to emulate.

  • I can’t wait to see when this investigation shows that Obama and Clinton were in cahoots with Soros in creating this whole Russian collusion garbage.

  • Trump is very effective at keeping people wondering what is going on. At least give him credit for not being a typical politician. That’s a good thing by the way.
