  • It’s funny how even our spending habits can say so much about who we are as a person, in the great times and the rough times our spending habits have a way of telling anyone who cares to dissect it exactly what’s going on in or lives in that moment.

  • I don’t really think this is new news. It’s long been touted as a fall favorite. Like everything else, there’s those that hate it but there are mass numbers who love pumpkin everything. While I love a good pumpkin pie blizzard as much as the next person it does seem a little over the top though.

  • I rank texting up there with social media. It is ruining socialization as we know it. If we don’t have to talk to someone we opt to text them. Often texting takes the place of important conversations and the tone gets lost in text. It’s sad how much we have come to rely on texting and social media.

  • He has been there for longer than I’d expect to be honest. Im sure he wants to expand and grow into a new position. He’s done a lot for Verizon and I’m sure his options are looking pretty bright right now!

  • This is really sad to learn. We all need to do our part in keeping these languages alive and thriving. They are an important part of history and cultures! I do believe that it’s important that we all be able to communicate no matter where we are from but the human mind is an amazing thing and knowing

I do believe that it’s important that we all be able to communicate no matter where we are from but the human mind is an amazing thing and knowing multiple languages isn’t a bad thing. It’s sad that certain languages are taking over those with such deep heritage.

  • The cost of schooling for teachers goes up, they are spending thousands of dollars for an education so they can teach our kids. Only to get out of school and discover that they have to toe the line with spoiled rotten kids of the modern day and use their own pay to make their classroom a kid friendly

Only to get out of school and discover that they have to toe the line with spoiled rotten kids of the modern day and use their own pay to make their classroom a kid friendly and inviting place to learn on top of being paid less than stellar wages. I can’t say that I blame them for going on strike.

  • I absolutely love this! The only thing I don’t like is that it was only for one day! Some countries have entire curriculums based around outdoor play, they literally are outside everyday from the time they get there until the time they go home. I would sign my daughter up for one of those programs in

Some countries have entire curriculums based around outdoor play, they literally are outside everyday from the time they get there until the time they go home. I would sign my daughter up for one of those programs in a heartbeat if they were available in the US! Heck, I’d even be willing to start a program myself if I could get enough people interested!

  • Does daylight savings time actually even save on energy resources anymore? If It doesn’t then I honestly do not see the point of continuing to do this confusing practice. By continuing to do it are we simply giving a nod of acknowledgement to our ancestors? I can see keeping it as a practice if it is

By continuing to do it are we simply giving a nod of acknowledgement to our ancestors? I can see keeping it as a practice if it is actually helpful, but not so much if it isn’t actually preserving resources.

  • It’s great to hear that they are taking the problem seriously and not knowingly allowing kids to have access to dangerous water. I like when public school districts take proactive actions to keep kids healthy and safe when they are in their care.

  • This happened to me. I went to a school that instead of helping me navigate financial assistance in a responsible manner, encouraged me to take everything I could then took all the leftover money that was supposed to be refunded to me after tuition and books ere paid for and I never saw it. I was left

I went to a school that instead of helping me navigate financial assistance in a responsible manner, encouraged me to take everything I could then took all the leftover money that was supposed to be refunded to me after tuition and books ere paid for and I never saw it. I was left with an associates of applied science and over $60,000 worth of debt on what should have been a $10,000 degree.
