  • Perhaps this has something to do with the high costs of higher education. While those without college degrees are generally better off as they get older (according to this), chances are that college grads are still stuck paying on loans far longer than generations past. • I miss having a president that can speak professionally and at a level worthy of their station. I also am glad that he is calling for us to look for common ground to talk to those with opposing view. The country is so divided as it is; we don’t need someone to spew more divisive discourse. Find the common

  • Lots of good advice here! I find it really annoying that companies have started in on the “green” bandwagon when the products they produce aren’t actually eco-friendlier than alternatives. This article doesn’t just tell us what we need to do, it gives us advice on how to think critically regarding a variety of topics.

This co-living company will hopefully have a positive impact on the housing industry by possibly keeping affordable housing on the market.

Programs to improve literacy are great and should be implemented whenever possible, but it makes me sad to think that parents weren’t already doing these things—the texts talk about remembering to encourage

  • As a graduate student of linguistics, this is something that I hope to study more about. It is also interesting to think about what other language speakers use for their shortened text-speak. I actually teach a lesson on text-speak for my English as a Foreign Language students; they are concerned that

I actually teach a lesson on text-speak for my English as a Foreign Language students; they are concerned that when they do their study abroad, they might not understand all of the texting lingo. It is fascinating to me how much our language has changed since texting became a thing.

  • I am totally in support of this new bill that Sanders is introducing. There is absolutely no reason why Bezos and the Walton family to be buying yet another giant house when the people they work for are unable to pay for the necessities in life and are working in unsafe warehouses. The greed of those people is absolutely sickening.
