    By cancelling the federal cap on fuel emissions to rely on the state to control its own limits is an awful idea. This is eerily similar to when the US didn't have a Federal level of police/investigations, and had a plethora of issues in regards to no communication between each state to help the greater population. Each state will choose its own levels of emissions that line the pockets of their respective senators, at the cost of the environment.

    Imposing these "harsh" guidelines that the automakers

    By cancelling the federal cap on fuel emissions to rely on the state to control its own limits is an awful idea. This is eerily similar to when the US didn't have a Federal level of police/investigations, and had a plethora of issues in regards to no communication between each state to help the greater population. Each state will choose its own levels of emissions that line the pockets of their respective senators, at the cost of the environment.

    Imposing these "harsh" guidelines that the automakers must comply to, federally, forces them to focus on alternative fuel use, such as electric cars, which are in essence, better in every way than their gasoline ancestors.

    The fact that almost every single senior member of NASA as well as several high ranking military officials are saying this is superfluous, not to mentioned coupled by the fact it was put forth by a president who has systematically contradicted himself countless times in the last year alone, leads me to believe that this is just a publicity stunt for the upcoming reelection.

    Either that or someone whispered into Trumps ear that we need to stop the "Space Immigrants" that will inevitably come and

    I'm curious to know why funding would be cut for the ISS, considering all the advancements research there has helped life on Earth. Also as for the appropriation of funds they claim will be used for "technological advancement," they never said they were adding funding to the other program, just taking it from the ISS. I hope that they will clarify this in the years to come.
