I use to own HTC phones back in the day when they produced windows OS smartphones. It was a great phone, but now I use Samsung as the android phone of choice. It's all about staying ahead of the curve, being the innovator, not the copier. It's not enough to be a "me too" provider. What makes you unique, what experiences does your product or service provide? The ultimate issue... is it life transforming?
Sandra Kwak is a perfect example of how one person can make an incredible impact on a country and it's citizens. I applaud Sandra for her relentless determination to help those in need, to impact them in such a way that it lifts the economy as well as its citizens spirits. I can only imagine how those citizens that have benefited from her work. May God bless her with success upon success, both personally and professionally.
Especially with public companies, like BKS, it is essential to be as transparent as possible, anything less will be taken as something that would warrant shareholder concern. Personally I want to see BKS continue to be in existence. We lost Borders, and I don't want to see BKS suffer the same fate. This is another example of uncertainty, of which "Mr. Market" never appreciates.
I believe that the market volatility due to the ongoing "trade war" is due to the uncertainty that it creates. How long will it continue? How will it affect those businesses involved in their respective industries? What other industries will be affected and are their any investments that are "safe"? Upping the ante until some country folds. Whenever that happens, or an agreement is arrived at, then cooler heads and markets will prevail.
