  • Realize that he is only parroting what conservatives already believe... conservatives believe that news and publications favor the left. Trump is only reinforcing what they’re already saying online which is why he’s so good with his supporters. I’m not a supporter but that fact is undeniable.

  • I love all the things happening for women’s health this year! This app sounds great!

Tattoos have always indicated to me that a person has a story to tell. Tattoos are now associated with sentimental people (to me anyways). I always ask people what they’re tattoos mean and they always tell me a long story. Sometimes these stories are so cute and a lot of the times they are meaningful. Some people have tattoos that are personal and deep.

The only reason I don’t have any is because I simply don’t want to spend my money on that. If I had $500 I would not buy a tattoo, but that’s just me and I don’t represent the entire population. Also, I’m just not a sentimental person. On an unrelated note, I have a needle phobia (hehe).

Times change, so do tattoo stigmas :)

If that clientele doesn’t exist, you only know English.

Otherwise, learning another language is just a fun hobby for U.S.Americans. That’s just the reality of it. I don’t correlate multi-language with intelligence.

I believe it’s our job to help point younger people in the right direction by recommending resources (such as books or other reference material). I also believe at the same time to hold an open mind because they are coming onto the scene with a fresh set of eyes. They could add a lot of value.

As a millennial, I refuse to berate the younger generation. I don’t believe it was helpful to anyone when it was happening to us. I strongly believe in mentorship and an educational environment and culture. Instead of calling someone stupid, why not try to see if they’re open to learning first (without being condescending).

I am excited to work with the upcoming generation. I think it’ll be a lot more fun than constantly battling stereotypes.

  • Low financial regulations is like giving your money to other people and not caring what they do with it. It’s your money and large corporations should have laws on what they are allowed to do and not do with it.

On a side note, after all the mistakes Wells Fargo has made in customer relations, I’m shocked to see there’s still consumer confidence. That’s just me though.

  • The best way to combat this is to use the blue check marks for politicians and their Facebook campaigns. FB already uses this system, they just need to use it for campaigns now.

For those who don’t know, the blue check mark signifies that a public figure is actually them (or their official PR team). Without that blue check mark you know it’s an impersonator. Because anyone can make a Facebook account and claim to be Taylor Swift for example or Mick Jagger. You can’t actually know it is them without that blue check mark by their name.

  • Very interesting read- a different take on AI and a good idea on exactly where it’s “at” right now. Bladerunner world is not in our life time.

  • To Ian Myers’ point, there was a big outburst in the media about self driving cars and how truckers were going to be replaced by automation. Why would I invest my time in learning a skill that has a visible dead end? I could be working the ranks in another industry where I’ll be employed longer. In the

To Ian Myers’ point, there was a big outburst in the media about self driving cars and how truckers were going to be replaced by automation. Why would I invest my time in learning a skill that has a visible dead end? I could be working the ranks in another industry where I’ll be employed longer. In the end, I think this has a lot to do with job security (a lack of it) in the trucking industry. I wouldn’t feel good knowing my days were numbered as a trucker.
