    When pricing insurance the more data the better but I can see why it could be a cause for concern as a consumer. As long as the data is being collected and stored responsibly it could be a win win for everyone involved. This reminds me of the disruption in the auto insurance industry when Progressive entered the market. Collecting extra data on driving behavior and using predictive analytics allowed them to break into an already competitive market.

Since then I moved back to Wisconsin, went back to school, changed careers and moved to Iowa. In the past I have always been in the mindset to go where the job takes me but now don’t see myself leaving the Midwest. Being a (reasonable) drivable distance to family and the cost of living have become much bigger factors in my decisions.
