The money spent complying for Facebook will be more than paid for by the reduced numbers of new competitors that they have to buy to stay on top.

  • Snap was started as an app which primarily allowed users to semi-descretely send nude photos to one another. Now the sister of the founder opens a direct porn site. How is this even news?

  • This is one of those stories that make you ask, "duh, doesn't everyone know this?" But a very important point, and one that just keeps feeding and lending creedence to these conspiracies on the right, is pretending they don't also exist on the left. When we ignore extremists on the left we help legitimize

Back in the day when I was growing up in Alaska, the great Herbie Nayokpuk "The Shishmaref cannonball," was battling it out year after year and piling up awards (no he never quite won) we recognised his greatness was for all of us, not just for the fact that he was Eskimo. Yes, you can find Herbie in the Iditarod hall of fame, as its first inductee.

  • Dammit! There hasn't been any true art since they first allowed those damn talkies in. You haven't lived until you've seen a great musical done in true silent black and white. The way God intended it. Who needs more life like realism than that?

  • So I think the news here is that it is implied that there may be online political polls that are not fixed.

  • While sad, it appears that the test was all about memorizing names not understanding the history. No questions like what were the reasons that "compelled the separation" in the declaration of independence? Does the constitution do more to limit the freedoms of individuals or the powers of government

No questions like what were the reasons that "compelled the separation" in the declaration of independence? Does the constitution do more to limit the freedoms of individuals or the powers of government? Why did we fight against fascism, communism and socialism?

  • Now it is financially bankrupt. Previously it was just morally bankrupt. What a scam.
