The border wall is needed, because it does serve as a deterent. Just ask any engineer that knows how to make a good barrier. I'm really befuddled by the disagreement on this issue. Given that, here's a proposition: Everyone that are against erecting barriers on the US border please keep your doors unlocked, in fact, just take the outside doors off your house, apartment or your abode and put up and display a prominently located sign telling the readers to come right in, foods in the fridge, beds are warm, and they can stay as long as they want, because its free. As an added benefit, you'll pay for their healthcare, school for their children and no eork on their behalf is required. Oh, and btw, if they commit a crime or are criminals, that's okay, because you've just declared the place a sanctuary. Then, why you're thinking about what I just wrote: Consider the stats on overcrowded schools, that use trailers, because the census didn't account for unchecked immigration and the rising costs of healthcare, again, because unequitable payment, if any at all, is lacking through use my border migration, etc. Yes, there is a problem in our immigration system, but, it's NOT a trump problem: It's a WeThe People problem and until we face the fact that it is our problem and stop playing the political parties game of he said she said: The immigration problem will NEVER be satisfactorily dealt with on the appropriate social, humanitarian and economic levels. We myst hold oursekves accountable at the voting booths and hold all our political representatives, regardless of party or any party, accountable for the full terms they are serving us or we vote them out, not keep them in office, only to keep the vycle of nothing done continuing to spin nowhere fast or for that matter to spin into the dark whole abyss of complicity by ignorance, or at least, failure to act, as responsible citizenry.

  • It seems there may be more falling on the sword activity in the upcoming future of FaceBook. It seems there may be more falling on the sword activity in the upcoming future of FaceBook. FB appears to have struggled to reach an appropriate response to public outcries and Congressional inquiry by taking a 'Don't look at us, or me, only, look at what the other guys are doing,' which was disingenous on the onset and ripe for failure to launch an effective crisis communicatons strategy. In this continuously changing digital landscape of socmed, among the many lessons that could be learned by FB, one should be to always prepare for leveled, well thought-through and prudent crisis responses to potentially controversial business operations. Given that, monetization of socmed services via commercialization is the status quo, socmed entities should and must consider balancing the business need with the public good or directly, to say, the customers best interest, to wit, developing a sound business model/practice around achieving this balance that works for the bottomline and customers right to quality products and servces is essential. Otherwise, for FB, and its distant, socmed same space relatives, crisis communications may become more of the norm, than the exception.

  • Anki looks a lot reminiscent of Disney's "Wall-E"? Was that the creator's intent?

  • Political dynasties in the USA have had their day and that day is gone. I agree a youthful generational mix of political aptitude is rising and growing. Unifying them and providing them issue information that they could digest in their digital-friendly minds and contribute to a constructive electorate

Political dynasties in the USA have had their day and that day is gone. I agree a youthful generational mix of political aptitude is rising and growing. Unifying them and providing them issue information that they could digest in their digital-friendly minds and contribute to a constructive electorate is one attribute the old guard needs to deploy, if we are to continue as a sound contitutional-republic. 😎
