Under the mantra of "do more with less," functional teams with support staff are gutted, leaving behind a leader-doer; an absurd notion of a one-man-band who sings, plays instruments, promotes and produces their own music until they are burnt out and passionless. Shareholders have created the Workerist Frankenstein, IMO.
