I cannot believe the comments here by Americans. You have really lost it. The problem is not Trump, it’s half the population who are certifiable idiots. For $50,000 Vladimir Vladimirovich, has paralyzed the American political establishment into chasing its tail on a contrived trumped up, ( no pun intended) “collusion” narrative. Very disappointed Gen Mattis overlooked this paralysis in his resignation letter. Surely in his SunTzu studies, way back when, neither an army nor state can move one step ahead without some semblance of (national) unity? It’s great to treat your (NATO) Allies with the warm and fuzzies. With few exceptions (love the Poles), they will not get off their parasitical asses and increase defense spending despite evergreen commitments undertaken, to do so, every few years. They continue to mooch off the American nuclear Umbrella while screwing the US on trade. How nice does the US have to be to get positive movement from their friends? No mention from the General that the US has served 30 days notice on Vladimir that the INF Treaty is about to be lapsed. Bravo. Trump’s great achievement so far, with the General’s help, is identifying explicitly the real US competitor-opponent, China. And the US firstly, is getting its economic house in order to be prepared for what’s coming down the road. Take a bow, no mention of this General. Trump will not be around forever. China and Russia will be. If Americans think all that’s needed to navigate a perilous world is to be nice and polite, the rest of the world is in for a bumpy ride indeed. The problem is not Trump, General, it’s a large segment of its electorate. If the US is to play a more meaningful role in the world, these American fools and idiots need to get off their incompetent asses and, as a first step, unify domestically.
