OMG, what happened to critically assessing the content of an article? I scan this and raise 2 red flags. First I wouldn't use the term empirical evidence but rather a subjective anecdotal collection of data given the use of a subject's personal interpretation of sleep outcomes with minimal control over inter and intra subject consistency, and secondly, the cause and effect relationship noted. It goes back to the chicken and egg conundrum, what came first? Stress causing lack of sleep or lack of sleep causing stress. Based on a simple walk back in time I might suggest that we look at this relationship over time. Go back to babies and children and assess when did they start to have bad sleep outcomes??? Just saying, be more critical, stop jumping to conclusions.
