Let me state the obvious. We will never beat technologies on normalised test. Education must develop our social and interpersonal skills which enable not only our children to establish positive relationship in society and with other human beings but master what they will need in forever evolving world for which our human judgement, intuition, creativity, culture will not find any tech equivalent during the lifetime of my children.

I expect me and my teacher friends to educate my children to be humanist and embrace change with appetite and no fear to what is stranger to them. I expect them to give them cultural roots to understand where they are coming from not what they need to replicate but more what they can do better than previous generation.

I expect us to give them a sense of creativity based on pure human emotion and not iteration.

Don t missunderstand me, knowledge is key, learning is essential. But let s not limit the knowledge of a foreign language to an ability to communicate but as a cultural base to be able to feel the same and understand each others above and beyond translated words...

Education should made Sartre forever wrong " L enfer ce n' est plus les autres..."
