  • Perhaps this could bridge the commitment gap in millennials, but more than likely it allows room for affairs. We can say we want something and are completely committed to it, but given time and space these vows whither and die out.

Could some time away work for some people, sure. But to live separate households, you might as well be friends with benefits.

  • The devices still work... I just can't have it detect when I'm away or home based on my mobile device or set the house to cool before I get home in the evening from home, not really sure what the issue is, thousands of non-cloud connected people have the same experience every day.

  • Just so we're all prepared, parents get your lawyers ready for that sweet class action lawsuit when someone breaches Aegis and uses all our kids beaming faces for cereal boxes and NCIS victim lineups.

It's not as this it doesn't happen, had an employer who used a facial scan time clock who's database

My other issue is just like the "traffic cameras" in the States were sold as helping to enforce traffic violations, but if fought in court with a savvy enough lawyer the charges were often dropped. What did happen though is thousands of cameras installed across America to create our version of CCTV. We were sold a bag of goods under the guise of traffic safety, now that speeding tickets are not issued because of camera enforcement they are there to monitor our daily lives.

I will take it a step further into conspiracy theories, there was an article on NPR (edited) a few days ago wondering how much of our lives are captured by our phones without our knowledge.

I'm all for school safety, but how do we provide safety without creating an atmosphere that is in par with the prison system?

  • How of all places did it reach Madagascar? I can never infect that cursed island on those plague games.

  • Ahh the age of Stark/Musk/Bezos Industries is here, I can smell the napalm in the air.

  • We can say there are plenty of jobs in the market for these people that are "using" the system, the issue I have witnessed firsthand, is many of the people using these programs have no marketable skills forcing them to work part-time/minimum wage work (which are included in this number of available jobs)

We can say there are plenty of jobs in the market for these people that are "using" the system, the issue I have witnessed firsthand, is many of the people using these programs have no marketable skills forcing them to work part-time/minimum wage work (which are included in this number of available jobs). Sure now they are working but the wages they are making are not enough to provide for all of their needs, and our welfare system is broken in a way to punish those actually trying to better themselves, by limiting taking their assistance if they make over a certain dollar amount.

I am not too proud to admit, I work multiple jobs as does my spouse so that we can live the "American Dream" in our case affording two cars, a 1,300sft house, and raise our single child. I have no idea what families with more children do to get by.

What I do know, is that if they are trying to make it on their own without some sort of assistance, there is a good chance they are doing their children and themselves a disservice by doing what they have to to survive rather than value time nurturing family values.

If there is anything I wish I could have more of it is time not having to work to spend with my family.

  • Regardless of your politics it's certainly interesting to see so many great people not work for such a great man.

This information of AG Barr refusing the house subpoena for the unredacted Mueller Report is a great example of how this type it staff placement, for now, allows Trump to continue dodging testimony, taxes, etc. as well as circumventing the equal powers of the Legislative Branch and their duty to American citizens to provide a check-and-balance to the Executive Branch.

Education was reserved for wealthy class families to remain wealthy, while low income working class had to help their families with farms or other professions just to survive. It wasn't all that long ago that we decided school should be required.

Ironically the movement, used people's fear of immigrants and the Catholic Church's power (organized religions traditionally do not promote science and intellectual advancements, but we're a large percent of available schools to attend), and surprisingly had the support of the KKK.

  • So can someone explain Uber to me? I thought this was always intended as being a side huddle type gig, not to replace your 9-5.

Like for instance I want to make since extra cash and have a few free weekends or particular day in the week and drive around a plaza/airport for a few hours?

    When did drivers

When did drivers somehow feel entitled to the perks of a more traditional job? Oh and if you wanted to be a taxi driver probably shouldn't have elbowed those guys out of work.

    My two cents.
