Michael Allen, I can't tell by your comment whether by "spiritual" and a "good person" you mean you are a follower of Christ, just not a supporter of the "church". Your comments about studying Christianity's ghastly history of sexual abuse, etc, etc, is actually human history and was prevalent before Christ's birth. He was in fact put to death without evidence of a crime in the most cruel, horrific, and torturous manner. He did not do this to make man perfect, he did it so that God would forgive our sins. To be a Christian is to believe in and follow Christ, who participated in none of the behaviors you described, but rather died because of them. That belief, in Jesus Christ, "the way, the truth, and the light. No one goes to the Father but through me", is your only passage to heaven. You are "spiritual" when filled with the Holy Spirit, you are a good person when living for Christ. Without the Trinity, all your words are moot.

Seriously, the ONLY good reason to allow felons to vote is to build the voter base for democrats. Felons are not incarcerated because of parking tickets or speeding as some "voters" believe. They have committed heinous crimes and anyone with 2 brain cells that bump into each know does not believe someone unable to make reasonable, acceptable, legal choices has ANY business deciding future choices for those of us who have lived our lives responsibly. Voting, like driving, working, choosing life partners
